Dr. Arun Kumar T is a well-known Orthopedic surgeon in Chennai. Specializing in Orthopedics, Advanced pelvic and Acetabular Trauma, Joint Replacement Surgery, Arthroscopy (Keyhole) surgery, Minimally invasive ultrasound-guided interventions, he currently practices at Be well hospital, T Nagar.
Dr. Arun's under graduation from one of the premier institutions in the country - Madras Medical College (MMC), and his orthopedic post-graduate training from the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) saw him progress successfully into his medical profession as a junior consultant in Medical Trust Hospital in Kochi.
He further pursued a fellowship in pelvic and acetabular trauma from Max super specialty hospital, Mohali under the guidance of Dr. Ramesh Kumar Sen. He continued upgrading his skills following with a fellowship in joint replacement (Arthroplasty) and Arthroscopy from the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery & Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) approved center.
His passion and special interest in acetabular trauma and joint preservation have led him to successfully examine, diagnose, treat and perform many successful surgeries in this area. He is an active member of the Indian Orthopedic Association (IOA), Association Of Pelvic Acetabular Surgeons (AOPAS), Indian Arthroscopic Society (IAS), Tamil Nadu Orthopedic Association (TNOA), and AO trauma foundation.
